And, while it was tricky finding a formulation that wasn’t full of nasty chemicals or harsh detergents, we ponied up like the CSI witches we are and NAILED IT. Tea tree is an antimicrobial agent that kills P.Acnes (you know, that bitch-ass bacteria that causes acne in the first place), and because she’s a Type A overachiever, she reduces inflammation too.
Geranium is anti-all-the-things: Anti-inflammatory. Antioxidant. Antimicrobial. Also a natural-astringent, known for toning, tightening AND regulating oil production-HELLO! Add in lavender’s magical-ness of delaying fine lines, age spots, wrinkles, and sun spots, wrap it in a bow with aloe’s mad-skills of healing chronic skin issues like psoriasis, acne and eczema, and you got yourself a MF gem of a face cleanser!
(Directions for use: Distribute a titch (1-2 teaspoons) of Mother & Moon’s Cleansing Water to your precious palm. Rub hands together, then massage into skin for a few moments. Gently rinse and dab your pretty face with a towel. Follow up with your favorite Mother and Moon facial oil, serum, or face cream. Check yo’ self out in the mirror. Meow.
